Italian wines are some of the most food-friendly in the world, layering ripe fruit flavours, crisp refershing acidity and structure from tannins. Learn how to compliment or contrast these elements by tasting combinations such as elegant Chianti Classico with mature Parmesan cheese, grilled salty anchovies with thirst quenchingly refreshing Gavi or dark, savoury Nebbiolo with smokey chargrilled peppers.
