We kick off our World of Wine series with a look under the skin at some of France's most illustrious and prestigeous regions. We'll cover common wine labelling terms, basic geography, key grape varieties and what makes some wines so expensive?
Next up on our World of Wine series we head down under to get to grips with wine down the Antipodean way... we've all heard about (and tried) Sauvignon Blanc from NZ and Shiraz and Chardonnay from Oz. But where are the hidden gems best found?
Part 3 of our global wine journey sees a return to France, but now we head to the North to learn about the stunning whites of the Loire and Burgundy. Elegant, racy wines with an abundance of mineral notes; like Spring in a glass, whatever the season!
Time to hit up some South American sunshine as we journey to the land of Malbec, Carmenere and Torrontes! With the dramatic Andes as our backdrop we'll enjoy settle in to an evening of tasting wines big and bold with fruit and spice- delicious!
